All translators have the ethical obligation not to disclose any information provided by the client without the express permission of the client.
• Information shared in any translation assignment is strictly confidential.
• Disclosure of information may be permissible with the client's agreement or when disclosure is mandated by law.
• Translated documents at all times remain the property of the client and shall not be disclosed nor released to a third party without the express consent of the client, or by law enforcement.
Furthermore, we follow the AUSIT Code of Ethics, which includes as general principles: Professional Conduct, Confidentiality, Competence, Impartiality, Accuracy, Employment, Professional Development and Professional Solidarity.
